A group of friends and I were on our way through Lithgow and stumbled across the Emerald Lantern. This is by far not a decision any of us regretted! If you're in the area and fancy some decent priced, good chienese food - the Emerald Lantern has my recommendation.

I felt really disappointed after seeing such good reviews. The food was very bland and many of the textures were quite offputting. The Singapore noodles were dry and flavourless, the combination Chow Mein was gluggy and the sauce reminded me of weird powdered gravy. The dining room felt like a 70's function room and could do with some music so that it's not so eerily quiet.
