  An extremely satisfying meal. Loved the chicken wings. Great Sunday roast. Lovely people. Really good coffee, nice selection of beers, wines and cocktails. Will definitely be coming back.

  Food was amazing, service really lovely. Staff friendly and laid back. Nice music. We had bbq ribs with jacket potatoes, green beans with garlic butter, rocket and parmesan salad and slow cooked lamb shoulder. All delicious, it was like a feast! To top it off they had $10 cocktails! We had just come off a long drive with hours to go and stopping here was the best decision!

  We had dinner at the blue fox a few days ago and I can't believe we hadn't found it sooner! Easily the best restaurant in lithgow. The food was absolutely delicious and the venue has a very nice feel. Very fast service and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

  Chairs unfortunately very uncomfortable. Chairs are low, hard wood seat and back and framed with steel. The back of the chair's only half, hence the edge of the wood digs into the middle of your back. There are a few comfy lounges though which you could reserve. After our celebratory luncheon, my back was very sore well into the night. This was a shame as the ambience was so relaxing and the food fresh and very tasty.

  The food was amazing and not just for Lithgow, I’d say 10 out of 10. In fact walking in it was a great atmosphere and you actually instantly feel like your not in Lithgow but in some trendy restaurant in Katoomba or Newtown with great art and music and good vibe.

  Tonight was our first experience at The Blue Fox, upon arriving we were greeted by the owner who was friendly, plesant and explained the menu for our dietary requirements as my partner is a vegan and they were more than happy to cater for this and adjust their menu for her.

  The waitress was very attentive and friendly and served us immediately. She also returned several times to see if we needed anything else and that everything was ok.

  Parking easy, with only a 10-50metre flat walk.

  However our friends on wheels, sticks & prams will find it impossible to enter premises, due to 6 or so large stairs. Advise calling in advance, there maybe wheelchair access at the rear.....

  Also noticed that there were cookies on a breadboard, uncovered & a cake was uncovered too, both sitting on the counter. A friend noticed this upon her previous visit, I didn't fancy sharing my desert with Mr. Loui the fly, and his friends.
